With so many different accessories for the various versions of iPods it can be difficult in deciding which if any you want or will really need.
The TuneCast II FM transmitter sounds like an interesting piece of technology. I haven't used it or know anyone with it but it would be interesting to see how well it works.
I have one and its great, when I orginally got it it was crackly and I went back to my tape converter.
However a bit later I tried again, needed to try a few places in my car as I dont have an external FM arial (its built into the rear window glass), eventually I found putting it in the tray under the radio works best.
Use mine every day now, I find its extra useful as it has a 3.5mm jack rather than connects stright to an iPod which allows me to use it on my phone and other music players.
This sounds like a reaaly ggod idea, coz like you say, I do always wanna listen to the selection that's on my ipod, but it's not always possible. This seems like a much more cost effective method than some of the other accessories ipod sell, like the portable speakers, that don't really give you the sound quality you want in your car.
