It's great that Apple Inc. has so many different choices of accessories for their iPods and all their other products but sometimes it becomes almost too much.
Personally I like a product that I don't have to add anything extra to. My iPod does everything I want it to and the main reason I bought it was to play my music.
The thing with the FM transmitter for the car is most cars already come with a FM stereo already.
I would have to listen to it and compare to see if there was much difference in sound.
I though that this accessory meant that you could listen to your ipod through your car stereo, rather than pick up fm radio on your ipod. Am I wrong? I'm a bit of a novice, so I'm a little in the dark on these things. I've had an ipod for years, but I never really bothered with the accessories before, so maybe I'm not getting the most out of mine.
You are right lilybex, you conenct up the transmitter to the bottom of your ipod set up your frequency and then turn on your car radio and tune it to th esame frequency as your iPod and voila your iPod plays through your car radio, stereo etc
